Virginia...

Appalachian Women's Panel
Things have been a bit sporadic for us over the past few days, giving us little time to sit down and write more than just a few things here and there. Here are just a few general updates for those of you following along. Following Knoxville we drove to Asheville, NC where we spent a few hours before having to leave suddenly for Clintwood, Virginia and missing the Firefly Gathering which, like St. Louis was going to be a highlight of the tour for the kids. That is the way these things go and we are by no means seasoned travelers so we simply take it all in stride and hope for better luck as we continue on.

While in Clintwood, we were able to visit some family and attend the opening days of Mountain Justice Summer Camp, volunteering to help with some of the set up and speaking to folks who are new to mountain top removal. We didn't have our camera unfortunately and so we haven't had that many photos to post.

We have since made our way to Charlottesville where we will be on a couple of radio shows and presenting at the Haven tomorrow night. If you're in the area, we'd love to have you!
